Cancel anytime. Refunds when it's on us.
Plans are billed monthly or yearly and you stop them whenever you like. This page says what happens to the money when you do, and when we refund a charge.
Last updated 20 October 2026In short
- You buy from Paddle, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued by Paddle back to the card or method you paid with.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the period you paid for; we don't refund unused days by default.
- Your first payment is refundable in full if you ask within 14 days.
- If we failed to measure your app in a week you paid for, tell us and we refund that week's share.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded.
01Who you buy from
AppCited subscriptions are sold by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd, or Paddle.com Inc for US customers) as our merchant of record. Paddle charges your card, adds any VAT or sales tax, issues the receipt and processes refunds. The charge on your statement may show Paddle's name. Paddle's buyer terms apply alongside this policy.
02Cancelling
Cancel from Settings in the app or from the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops the next monthly or yearly charge. Your apps keep being measured until the end of the period you already paid for, including that period's remaining Mondays, and your reports stay in your account afterwards. We don't refund the unused part of a period on cancellation, except as described below.
03Your first payment
If AppCited isn't what you expected, email hello@appcited.app within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. This applies once per person and only to the first payment of your first subscription, whether or not a Monday report has run yet.
04Renewals
Renewal charges are not refundable because you forgot to cancel, but if you ask within 7 days of a renewal and haven't received a report in that period, we will refund it as a courtesy.
05Weeks we couldn't measure
If in a week you paid for we measured none of the engines for your app because of a failure on our side, we refund that week's share of your price (a quarter of the monthly price, or a fifty-second of the yearly price, per missed week) or credit it to your next renewal, as you prefer. A partial week, where some engines answered and others didn't, is shown as partial in the report and is not refunded; the report says which engines were not measured. Weeks you paused yourself, or weeks after a failed payment, don't count.
06Mistakes and duplicate charges
If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, tell us and we will have Paddle refund the difference in full. If you see a charge you don't recognise, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank; a chargeback takes weeks and we can usually refund the same day.
07Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, you may have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. Because the service starts straight away, by subscribing you ask us to begin before that period ends; if you then withdraw, you pay for the part of the service already provided and get the rest back. Nothing in this policy limits rights that your local law gives you and that cannot be waived.
08How to ask for a refund
- Email hello@appcited.app from the address on your account, with the Paddle order number from your receipt and a line on why.
- We reply within 3 working days and tell Paddle to refund; Paddle usually returns the money within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.
- You can also contact Paddle directly through the link in your receipt.
The Terms of Service describe the plans; the Privacy Policy describes what we keep about you.
